We are a small, family-owned and operated cottage rental business. We love these homes, use them ourselves, and enjoy sharing them with kind travelers. Over the years, we’ve rented to many guests and have always worked hard to provide personal attention to each one. Neighborhood

Rural and lovely, these cottages are tucked into a quiet little cove on Lake Ontario. Peaceful and serene, we are blessed to be surrounded by the parkland of Beachwood State Park. The main industry here is fruit farming, and farm markets dot the country roads. The area offers beautiful, natural surroundings, yet is just a short drive to Sodus Point, NY, a charming port resort town. It's easy to enjoy Sodus Point’s sandy public beach, lighthouse museum, marinas for boat rentals or rides, and waterfront restaurants.

Access

The entire home is for your use including the porch with rockers, deck w/grill and yard w/firepit, horse shoes, picnic table. But the best is walk right out into the state park on the water OR use the waterfront beach for cottages, walking a short distance.

Space

Relax at this unique and tranquil natural getaway, located inside a State Park with waterfront access. Swim, launch your kayak, enjoy the sunset, or hike right out your back door onto the State Park trails. For more activity, the lovely port town of Sodus Point is just 3-4 miles away, offering a public sandy beach, a playground, a pier to explore, and a lighthouse museum. Enjoy dinner on the waterside restaurant decks in Sodus Point, launch or rent a boat, and visit the great local farm markets. The possibilities are endless!

Transit

A car is necessary to visit this rural location. Driveway space is limited, so ridesharing or carpooling with friends or family is advised. The driveway can accommodate a maximum of 2-3 vehicles. Boat trailers are allowed, but please let us know in advance.

Notes

Sodus Point is a lovely port town, just 3-4 miles away, offering so much to enjoy, including a sandy public beach, marinas, a lighthouse museum, ice cream shops, and restaurants with waterfront views. We are dog-friendly, and so is much of Sodus Point. It's a walkable, charming, and friendly town.

A lovely family of five owns this home, but as the three kids have grown into adults, they find they are using it less and are now open to sharing it.

I at Ferryland Cottage Rentals run a little hospitality and cottage rentals business and rent my other 2 cottages (one mine one my sisters) here. We do love these homes, use these homes and enjoy sharing with kind travelers. I care take and rent the cottages here and this is the most recent as of 2022 and have been renting here since 2008.

Over the years we have rented many cottages and rented to hundreds of guests. We work hard to give personal attention to guests. And with the owners have worked to make the cottages welcoming and easy to use for all. Ferryland Cottage rentals (thats me Jan) will make a point of making your stay hospitable. No matter the reason for your trip we want to make it GREAT!

House Rules

Occupancy beyond the number of guests booked will incur an extra charge.

Quiet hours begin at 10 PM.

Dogs pay $50 (max 2 dogs), please pickup after in yard, Crate when not with you in home

NO Smoking of any kind inside the house. Outside only!

Exterior Cameras on the outside

Access to waterfront is at the cottage association community waterfront lot only and in State Park waterfront.

Use of the bunk bed is not suitable for all guests, and we assume no responsibility for its use.

Cancellation Policy

If the booking is canceled more than 30 days before check-in, there is no charge. Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in will incur a charge of 50% of the total.
